Juice Pasteurization Mixer
Triple-jacketed stainless steel units with a capacity of 100–1500 liters — heating, mixing and cooling juice in a single tank. Available in a standard version, an eco version (with heat recovery), and as a simple heating tank.
Choose the Variant Suited to Your Process
Margo manufactures three types of juice pasteurization units — they differ in heating method and level of energy savings.
Standard Mixer
A triple-jacketed mixer with 2×6 kW electric heaters. The simplest and most versatile solution.

With a tube-in-tube heat exchanger — pasteurization using steam. Significant savings on electrical energy.
See DetailsHeating Tank
No agitator — simple juice heating with level control and automatic inflow shut-off.

Juice Pasteurization Mixer — Standard Version
A triple-jacketed mixer made of 304 grade stainless steel — the tank body and the heating/cooling jacket are made of 304 steel, with a brushed steel outer shell. Polyethylene foam insulation sits between the heating jacket and the outer shell.
Standard Equipment
- Lid split into a fixed part and a lifting flap
- Wash nozzle mounted in the fixed part of the lid
- Paddle agitator
- Drive: electric motor with gearbox, 35 rpm
- Heating/cooling water jacket
- Two electric heaters, 6 kW each
- Tank insulation — polyethylene foam
- Dished end profiled toward the outlet
- Control box with agitator switch
- Outlet with DIN DN 40 butterfly valve
- Analog thermometer for measuring juice temperature
- Limit switch — agitator lockout when the lid is raised
- Additional connection for filling the tank from the top

Eco Mixer — With Heat Recovery
Juice pasteurization at 80–90°C using a tube-in-tube heat exchanger — an innovative solution providing significant savings on electrical energy. Requires a source of steam or hot water as the heat carrier. Steam fed into the exchanger transfers heat to water, which circulates (via a circulation pump) between the recovery unit and the mixer, heating the juice to pasteurization temperature.
The mixer and exchanger are made of 304 grade stainless steel. Triple-jacketed construction: inner jacket (juice tank), heating jacket, and an outer jacket made of brushed sheet metal, with insulation between the heating jacket and the outer shell. Also equipped with heaters, in case the water jacket needs additional heating independent of the exchanger.
Eco Version Equipment
- Lid split into a fixed part and a lifting flap
- Paddle agitator
- Drive: electric motor with gearbox, 35 rpm
- Heating/cooling water jacket
- Tank insulation — polyethylene foam
- Flat dished end, profiled toward the outlet
- Two heating methods: 2×6 kW heaters or tube-in-tube exchanger
- Control box with electronic thermostat (4 m cable)
- Outlet with 304 steel butterfly valve, DIN 40 standard
- 1" steam connection
- Circulation pump connected to the heating/cooling jacket
- Analog thermometer for measuring juice temperature
- Limit switch — agitator lockout when the lid is raised
- Three-legged construction

Juice Heating Tank
A triple-jacketed tank (inner jacket — juice tank, heating jacket, outer jacket of brushed sheet metal) made of 304 grade stainless steel, clad on the outside with brushed sheet metal. A simple heating solution — no agitator, with automatic liquid level control.
Equipment
- Lid welded to the tank, with an inspection hatch
- Heating water jacket
- Tank insulation — polyethylene foam
- Flat dished end, profiled toward the outlet
- Two electric heaters, 6 kW each
- Outlet with 304 steel butterfly valve, DIN DN 25 standard
- Float flap valve — automatic inflow shut-off when the tank is full
- 4-legged construction, 25 cm height
- Liquid level indicator
- Analog and electronic thermometer for temperature measurement
- Tank washing nozzle
